This opposed piston internal combustion engine, the WAISSI ENGINE can replace all internal combustion engines: aerospace (e.g. UAVs, light aircraft), automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. The engine can be implemented as a 2-stroke and 4-stroke version using any fuel type (heavy fuel, gasoline, diesel, NGr). The engine is simpler than conventional IC engines due to its opposed piston design.

This Engine has great advantages, it has an opposed piston design, and it has a design that achieves a minimum number of moving parts.

The opposed piston WAISSI ENGINE's advantages include:
  • Minimum number of moving internal engine components.
  • Engine parts greatly simplify manufacturing and assembly.
  • Simpler dynamic balancing because of no secondary piston forces. 
  • An estimated 50% lower internal engine friction when compared to conventional IC engines.

This Engine's opposed piston design allows 2 pistons to power a crank disk.

This Engine's design achieves a minimum number of moving parts compared to a standard IC engine. The WAISSI ENGINE has a simple crank shaft, a crank disk for each piston pair, and two integrated piston heads.

Therefore, we believe that the WAISSI ENGINE will be a "game-changer" promising lower manufacturing costs , simpler assembly, simpler maintenance, higher output, and lower fuel consumption than any comparable IC engine.
